Lake Kiowa - Henry Madison Emmons of the Lake Kiowa community in Cooke County died Thursday in Gainesville. He was 80. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Restland Wildwood Chapel in Dallas. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Geo. J. Caroll & Son Funeral Home in Gainesville is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Emmons was born in Galveston. He was a retired quality control inspector for LTV Corp. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Alzheimers Research Center, University of Texas Health Science Center, Dallas, or a favorite charity. Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Emmons of Lake Kiowa; son Carlton Emmons of Dallas; two daughters, Dottie Geil of Vero Beach, Fla., and Peggy Redden of Garland; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
