Aunt Clair as she was known to all family was a Reaves family historian. Her pages of notes, and remembrances contributed much to the memorials for the Reaves Family Cemetery that the creator of her memorial has added.

She spent many hours laboriously typing family history for all, on an old manual typewriter. No copy machine available then, so she would type it all again for anyone interested.

Though she never married, all her nieces, nephews, and cousins were her children, loved, and always welcome.

A big part of the Reaves family history in Bradley County Arkansas lives on through her writings.
