A funeral for Rosie L. Reaves of McMinnville will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville, with the Rev. Harry Wilson officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, McMinnville.

The funeral home will be open for visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Reaves died Aug. 1, 1999, in her home. She was 68.

Born April 1, 1931, in Havana, Kan., she was the daughter of Ray and Elizabeth Wade Wilkerson. She was raised and educated in Kansas. She moved to Grandview, Wash., in 1947.

She and Harold Reaves were married June 7, 1947, in Grandview.

Mrs. Reaves was a waitress in the Sunnyside Elks Lodge, Sunnyside, Wash., for many years. She moved from Grandview to Lincoln City in 1989. She moved to McMinnville in 1999. She loved the ocean.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Diana Cohu of McMinnville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Reaves, in 1984; and a brother and two sisters.
