He was born Feb. 25, 1929, at Osceola, Arkansas, but had resided most of his life in Mississippi County.
He had been employed the past five years by the Huffman Towing Co. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Gary Tinnon and Miss Melody Cain; his father, Clarence Cain; brothers, J.C. "Buddy" and Everett Cain; sisters, Mrs. Woodrow Sills, Mrs.s Vernon Fairhurst and Mrs. Julius Laster; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Charleston.
