Ernest F. Becker
Ernest F. BECKER, 82, Fulton, died Sunday at 11:55 a.m. in Woodlawn hospital where he had been seriously ill since April.
Born Feb. 11, 1892 in Fulton county, he was the son of Charles and Mary Magdeline MEYER BECKER. He was married May 4, 1921 in Warsaw to Mary STOOKEY OPLE, who survives. A retired carpenter, he spent most of his life in Fulton county. He was a member of the Fulton Baptist temple and a veteran of World War I, serving in both France and Germany.
Surviving with his wife are nieces and nephews. Eight brothers and one sister preceded in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist temple with the Rev. Franklin ARTHUR officiating. Burial will be in the Fulton cemetery. Friends may call at the Ditmire-Zimmerman funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
