During his youth spent in the mountains of eastern Tennessee, he worked on the family farm while earning a diploma from Cocke County High School. As a young man, he enlisted in the Civilian Conservation Corps Camps where he served admirably.
After moving to South Carolina, he married and raised a family while working as a truck driver for Dillard Paper Company. He retired from Dilllard Paper Co. after having worked there for 30 years.
Frank was a devoted husband and a caring and loving father. He was a man of integrity and honor, and was respected by all. He never met a stranger, nor was he ever afraid to speak a kind or encouraging word.
Some of his favorite things in life were cooking for his family, making people laugh and telling jokes. He will always be remembered for his strength of character, his exceptional unselfish nature and his kindness to everyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Peggy Joyce Bible; his wife, Ella Owens Bible; and three brothers and two sisters.
His loving spirit lives on in those by whom he is survived; one daughter, four sons, 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren three great great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will mourn his passing.
He was "87, broke free from his earthly constraints and his spirit went to a place of peace and happiness." I have a copy of his obit from Harrison Daily Times.
