JOSEPH D. WOODRING

Joseph Daniel Woodring, 89, died yesterday at 1:45 p.m. at the home of a grandson, William Woodring, Littlestown R.D. 2, with whom he resided.
Mr. Woodring was a son of the late Daniel and Mary Andrews Woodring. His wife, Mazie Bell Woodring, died nine years ago.
He was a retired night watchman for Hanover Made Furniture, Inc. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, McSherrystown; McSherrystown Aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the McSherrystown Home Association.
Surviving are nine children, Mrs. Mary Ripple and Mrs. Blanche Huff, Littlestown R.D. 2; Mrs. Margaret Behl and Mrs. Gail Little, Hanover; Mrs. Raymond Wagner, Hanover R.D. 1; Robert Woodring, Littlestown; Bernard Woodring, Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Ligori Smith, East Palatka, Fla.; and Mrs. Guy Keefer, Street, Md.; 25 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Jackson and Womer Funeral Home, Carlisle Street. The Rev. J. Earl Reed, his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow after 3 p.m.
