The deceased was born in Ohio, February 6, 1848. He was united in marriage to Nancy Hagan, June 11, 1876 and to this union ten children were born, nine of whom, together with the aged wife, survive. They are: Mrs. Charles Brainard, Rogers, Ark., Alvin Camp, Astoria, Oliver Camp, Mrs. Fred Erb, Mrs. Nicholas Weber, Mrs. Calvin Bainter and Don Camp, Lewistown and Mrs. Kenneth Schuman of Pekin and Orley Camp, Lewistown.
The deceased in his last sickness had been ill for about a week. He was a member of the Astoria Christian church.
Mr. Camp lived in and around Astoria for a number of years. He had many friends here who knew him to have been an honest, upright man.
Funeral services will be held at Lewistown Friday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at the Christian church, conducted by Rev. Counes. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
