A victim of injuries received when he was struck by an automobile, Clyde C. Covington, 51, was buried after services at the First Christian Church.

A short service was held at the home of Mr. Covington's parents in Archer City, Mr. and Mrs. W.O. Covington. Rev. Sanford St. John, pastor, officiated the services.
Covington lived 10 miles northwest of Olney. He started across the road to his mail box and did not see or hear the approaching car; he was very deaf.

Survived by one son - J.W. Covington of Archer City; five daughters - Mrs. C.E. Clark, Mrs. O.M. Gunter and Eulida, Jewel and Pauline Covington, all of Archer County; six brothers; four sisters and his parents.
