"Frances was born 15 August 1861, at Hucknall Torkard, Nottingham, England. She was born out of wedlock to Sarah Ann Goddard. Her known father was a Mr. William Buck. She was known as Fanny Goddard, until her Mother married Mr. Matthew Harris, 22 July 1867. She then acquired the name of Harris. On 27 November 1907 she was sealed to Mr. Harris and her Mother, Sarah Ann Goddard Harris in the Salt Lake Temple."
THis explanation explains what I have found in our family history. I found it posted on Family Search.

I Want Correct Information for MY FAMILY Records. This is not the first bad apple I found in my tree. My Grandmother considers me a bad apple because we are of different faiths but like it or not she is also in my tree. My apologies to other family who push for Matthew Harris as father.
He appears to be a GREAT man in the way he lived his life from what I can find.

. This small family settled in Wyoming,and grew their family. Samuel went to work in the mines. On 20 March 1895 an Explosion in Mine #5, killed about 60 people. Samuel was one of those killed.
. That kind of disaster in such a small community left many widows with fatherless children. James and Thomas Hutchinson, two of Samuel's Brothers were also killed in this explosion.

PIONEER RESIDENT DIES WEDNESDAY AT HOME IN EVANSTON

EVANSTON—Aug. 18—(Special)—Mrs. Frances Harris Hutchinson Bell, 83, died at her home in Evanston on Wednesday, August 16, of causes incident to age.

She was born Aug. 15, 1861, in Nottinghamshire, England, a daughter of Matthew and Sarah Goddard Harris. She married Samuel Hutchinson in England Oct. 24, 1879, and they came to America with her parents and settled in Almy in 1883. To this union eight children were born.

After the death of her husband, who was killed in the mines in 1895, she married Joseph E. Bell in the Salt Lake City L.D.S. temple, and went to live on a ranch near Hilliard. Six children were born tot his union. The family moved to Evanston in 1929. Mr. Bell died in 1913.

Survivors include ten sons and daughters: Abraham and William Hutchinson, George and Earl Bell, all of Evanston; Joseph Bell of Mountain View, Clarence Bell of Helper, Utah; Mrs. Ada Barker of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Esther Lester and Mrs. Frances Lester of Evanston, and Mrs. Annie Maylin of Ogden; two brothers, Ephraim Harris of Hilliard, and Walter Harris of Evanston; 87 grandchildren, 102 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon in the Evanston first ward L.D.S. chapel, with Bishop Ralph Ashton officiating. Interment will be in the Evanston city cemetery, under the direction of the Gilbert Bills mortuary.
