Graveside services for William Henry Harper, 78, were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, at Rawson Cemetery in Meridian.
Mr. Harper died Sunday afternoon at District 2 Hospital in Durant. He was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Purvis Harper, Durant; one brother, A. C. Harper, West; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Gaston McBride of Durant.
