Warren B. "Skeet" Johnson, age 72, of McRae, formally of Benton, passed away June 4, 2011 at his home. He was born October 20, 1938 in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Skeet was the owner and operator of a heavy duty equipment and welding shop for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ruby Johnson; brother, W.B. Johnson; two sisters, Juanita Brotherton and Betty Burnett; wife, Edith Johnson and a son, Jerry Johnson.
He is survived by his special friend, Idell Addie of McRae; children, Danny Johnson and wife Linda, Mickey Johnson, Mary Davis and husband Ronnie and Danny Johnson, Jr. and wife Crystal all of Benton; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Lawrence of Benton, Lottie Stuart of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jane Higgins of Benton and Shirley Sanders of Little Rock and a brother, Johnny Johnson of Benton.
Pallbearers will be Danny Johnson, Rusty Davis, Jeremy Davis, Charles Rodriguez, James Higgins and Paul Higgins. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Davis.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9 at Social Hill Cemetery. Bro. Paul Williams will be officiating.
