New Hampshire Governor. Served as the Governor of New Hampshire from 1819 to 1823. Also served as a Member of the New Hampshire State House of Representatives from 1804 to 1807, New Hampshire State Attorney General from 1806 to 1807, Member of the New Hampshire State Senate for the 7th District from 1807 to 1809, Justice of the New Hampshire State Supreme Court from 1816 to 1819, and United States Senator from New Hampshire from 1823 to 1835.
