Maida Balls Hulse Weber (84) of Salt Lake City, UT and formerly of Millville, UT returned to our Heavenly Father on June 13, 2011, due to an unexpected illness.

Maida was born on January 24, 1927 in Logan, UT to Alvin John Balls & Ida Alice Seamons. Maida grew up in Hyde Park, UT.

Maida married DeVaughan William Hulse on July 28, 1942. Together they had 3 children. DeVaughan preceded her in death on April 4, 1979. She later married Conrad Robert Weber of Salt Lake City on November 13, 1981. He also preceded her in death on February 22, 1990.

Maida was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, always remembering her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren's birthdays. She was a good friend to many. Maida enjoyed her word seek puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and embroidery. She was a great cook and she enjoyed cooking for her family. Her family loved her Sunday dinners of fried chicken, salad, and her famous rolls. She enjoyed going to the Salt Lake Senior Center, where she made many dear friends. She was awarded by the center for her dedication.

Maida leaves a legacy of 3 children, 13 grand children, 38 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren with one more expected in November.

She is survived by her children, Murray (Holly) Hulse of Brigham City; Barbara (Charles) Parrish of Perryton, Texas; and Betty (Boyd) Weeks of Preston, Idaho., one step-daughter Linda Weber VanHarlen. She is also survived by a sister Connie (Dennis) Garr of Hyde Park, UT and two sisters in law, Martha Hulse & Lola Balls.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, her siblings, Letho Waite, Ray, Tom, Frank, & Jim Balls, and a step-son Ken Weber.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 20 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center in Logan. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Sunday evening, June 19 and from 10-10:45 AM prior to the funeral services at the mortuary on Monday.
