He proudly served our country with a 30 year career in the
US Navy which he retired in 1961 as Chief Petty Officer. He was involved in six WWII invasions which included Africa, Sicily, Italy, Normandy, Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
He was an accomplished bass singer and blessed many people through his gospel quartet singing.
Chief is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Rosa, who he married on Aug. 28, 1950;
three children,
four grandsons and son-in-law.
He was placed at rest in a private service with military honors.
