In 1940 she and Fred lived in a place they were renting for $25 a month on Chestnut Street in Rimersburg. They still worked at the same jobs. He had an income in 1939 of $2000 for 52 weeks of work and she of $600 for 52 weeks of work.
In 1950 she and her husband lived in an apartment at 423 Penn Street in New Bethlehem, PA. He worked as a merchant--Laughlin Implement was his store.
