Mrs. Abrams was born on Jan. 17, 1916, in Oil City to the late William and Ethel P. Luce Cook. She married Rexford G. Abrams on Dec. 7, 1936. Mr. Abrams died on Sept. 23, 1984.
She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren. She was also an avid bingo player.
Mrs. Abrams is survived by five daughters; 16 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one sister, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Rexford G. Abrams and Larry L. Abrams; five brothers, Raymond, Lester, George, Bill and Wearne "Bud" Cook; and four sisters, Dorothy Cook, Betty Sines, Esther Murphy and Flosie Biernschmitt.
Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and attend the funeral service from the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard S. Hamrick, pastor of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
