Billie was born July 10, 1927 in Gordon, Nebraska. She was the daughter of Harry E. Wolfe and Faith Nern Wolfe. She died on March 25, 1940, in an isolation hospital in Douglas, Wyoming, from diptheria. Besides her mother and step-father, "Powder River" Thompson, she is survived by a younger sister, Shirley, who has just recovered from the disease that claimed Billie. Mr. Thompson is ill in a hospital at Hot Springs.
