Lifelong Castle Rock resident Alma M. Carnine, 75, died May 20, 1987 at home. She was born Sept. 1, 1911 at Castle Rock.
She was a homemaker, an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Castle Rock, and a past president of the Toutle Lake PTA. She enjoyed her family and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Carnine, at home two daughters, Janice Caskey of Castle Rock, and Joyce Barrick of Olympia; three sisters, Olga Hall of Castle Rock, Clydena Spellman of Springfield, OR, and Erna Kluth of Colton, OR; two brothers, Hugo Janisch and Henry Janisch, both of Castle Rock; three grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Ross officiating. Vault interment will follow at Tower Road Cemetery, Castle Rock.
