Mrs. D.B. Davis died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles in Graham, Texas

Graveside services were officiated by Rev. T.R. Paden, pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Graham.

Miss Elender “Ellen” Damron married Daniel Boon Davis on 11 March 1869. To this union were born six sons and three daughters. All of her children were born in Tennessee. The couple moved to Fannin County in 1891 and then to Tarrant County in 1893. In 1906, they moved to Young County settling in the Farmer Community.

Early in life she was converted and joined the Presbyterian Church but in 1895 united with the Baptist Church. She lived a devout and devoted Christian life from her profession early in life until her death. Survived by her husband; children - Mrs. Letha Thomas, Mrs. E.T. Cunningham, Mrs. Charles Keen, J.H. Davis, J.W. Davis, Sam Davis, and O.R. Davis.

She was preceded in death by her first child, who died in infancy, and Joe Davis who died in 1923.
