Elma Irene Danner was born on October 26, 1923, in Illinois City, Illinois, the daughter of Louis F. and Philipena M. (Fuhr) Danner. On March 4, 1978, Elma was united in marriage to Edward A. Baldwin in Muscatine. She worked many years as a dental assistant. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, American Dental Assistants Association, Muscatine Business and Professional Women, Women of the Moose and Lady Elks.
Elma will be deeply missed by her sister, Jean Phelps, and husband, Jerry, of Rock Island, Illinois, special friend, Dr. John Tillie, of Muscatine, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1998, two brothers, Carrol Danner and Ralph Danner Sr., one nephew, Roy Phelps II and two sisters, Grace Larson and Ruth Francis Danner.
