Dollie Maxine Brown, 63, of rural Fulton, Kan., died June 13, 2011, due to a fatal stroke at her home. She was born Sept. 30, 1947, at Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Walter H. and Viola P. Phillips Hopkins. She married Gary V. Brown on Feb. 20, 1971, at the Grace Baptist Church, Fort Scott, Kan., and they spent their entire 40 years of marriage in the rural Fulton area. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Thomas and Walter Hopkins.
