On November 11, 1945, she married Robert Eugene Green. As part of a military family, Inez enjoyed homes in Massachusetts, Florida, California and Hawaii.
Gene preceded Inez in death in 1963.
On November 17, 1967 she married Paul Douglas Green and spent nearly 40 years living in Dallas, Texas. Inez loved flower decorating (Ikebana), gardening, travel and most of all her family. She will be remembered for her colorful style, unique collection of earrings and unforgettable smile. She was one classy lady!
Survivors include sons Robert "Doug" (Margaret) Green of Baraboo, WI, Michael (Patty) Green of Yamhill, OR and P. David Green of Dallas, TX; daughters Shannon Green of Sarasota, FL and Sara Jane (Paul) Johnson of Bradenton, FL; sisters Marvene (Hubert) Walton of Sullivan, IL and Avis (Jim) Smith of Lovington, IL; sister-in-law Ella Jane Rollo of Pensacola, FL; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and many other special relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Gene and Paul Green; brothers Roy "Junior" and Roger Marlow; sister and brother-in-law Mildred and Merwyn Tipsword; sister Helen Marlow and brother-in-law Leslie "Bud" Rollo.
A graveside celebration of Inez's life will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on July 22, 2011 at 3 PM.
