Lewis loved to smoke a pipe and was the iceman for the area. During the winter, he delivered coal. He died of cancer. Lewis married his first wife, Addie Mae Wilson on March 23, 1902. They lived on Hoover Street near the railroad tracks and were nicknamed "Ma and Pa" by the children that lived and played on Hoover street. She was born in 1883 in West Danby, Tompkins Co, NY and died on January 14, 1942 in Sayre, PA at the age of 59 due to diabetes. She was the daughter of Andrew Wilson and Emma Whitney Wilson. Lewis Sager and Addie Mae Wilson had nine children: Bernice Emma; Beatrice Lura; Donald Wilson; Ralph Eldred; Paul LeRay;Lewis Earl; Walter Karl; and Doris Pauline. After Addie Mae Wilson Sager died, Lewis Sager married Eva Every in 1942. Eva was born in 1907 and died on January 29, 1986 at the age of 89 in Waverly, NY. She was the daughter of James Every and Polly Cleveland of Mansfield, PA and the widow of Joseph Osler.
