Anthony J. Simiele, Jr., 65, of Solvay, passed away Sunday, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Syracuse , he attended Solvay High School and served in the Army from 1958 to 1960. He was a 30 year employee of New Process Gear and was in the Management Club, the former owner of Simiele's Restaurant of Cicero and had been a consultant for Walker Die of Tennessee, Intermet of Tennessee and Wisconsin and Ring Masters of Minnesota. He was the current Vice-President of Geddes Vets, Vice- President of the Hilltop Club and a member of the Tyrol Club and Solvay Tigers. He was an active communicant of St. Brigid- St. Joseph's Church. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Grace Simiele; and sister Marie. Survived by his wife of 21 years, Linda LaMontagne Simiele; four children, Anthony (Kris), Barbara (Mark) Reichert, Gina (Steve McConnell), and Anna Marie Wise; four brothers, Patrick (Rosemary), Robert, Richard (Angela) and Michael (Colleen); seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services: Thursday, 9:30 a.m. at the Tindall Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Brigid- St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours Wednesday, 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1921 W. Genesee St. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Brigid-St. Joseph's Church, 318 Herkimer St., Syracuse , 13204.
