Services for Mr. Robert Bryant Barnhill, 76, of Nunnelly, who died on Wednesday, June 19, 1996 at Centerville Health Care Center were held on Friday, June 21 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
The service was conducted by Bro. Bobby Kelley, and was followed by burial in Hilltop Cemetery in Lyles.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. Barnhill was the husband of Pearlie Sullivan Barnhill, and the son of the late Will and Clemmie Coates Barnhill. He was a sawmill laborer and a veteran of the U.S. Army who served during World War II.
In addition to his wife he leaves four daughters, Shirley Munsey and Evelyn Porter, both of Shelbyville, Martha Peach of Lewisburg and Barbara Barnhill of Centerville; three sons, Johnny Barnhill, Robert Barnhill and Billy Barnhill, all of Nunnelly; two sisters, Jewel Jordan of Nashville and Mary Hickman of Centerville; his brother Willie Barnhill of Arkansas, 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
