MARY HUDSPETH, 86, BURIAL IN EAGLEVILLE

Mrs. Mary Hudspeth, 86, was buried in the Eagleville Cemetery Friday afternoon following services in the Eagleville Church with services led by the Rev. Fred Plocher and under the direction of the Kerr Mortuary. Pallbearers were six nephews: Bob Minto and Merrill Minto of Chico, Bill Minto of Cedarville, Jack Minto and David I. Grove of Eagleville, and Jerry Grove of Cedarville.

Mary Pearl Minto was born in Eagleville September 6, 1881, the first child of Robert Wield Minto and Mary Elizabeth Minto. One sister, Roberta and three brothers, Elwin, Elmer, and Robert Minto, and her husband preceded her in death. One sister, Edith Maxwell of San Jose survives.

Mary married George Hudspeth in 1913. They had no children of their own but raised Mary's mother's sister's son, Richard Scott, who passed away last year. Mary spent all of her life in Eagleville until she was no longer able to live alone. She stayed at the Addington Rest Home in Cedarville for some time. Recently she had been a patient of the Cedarville Hospital for further care and passed away there September 25, 1967.

Out of county relatives here for the funeral were Mrs. Isabel Goodwin and son, Richard Scott, Jr. of Eldo Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Minto, Keith Minto, and Bob Minto all of Chico, and Mr. and Mrs. Vrle Minto of Angels Camp.
