Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Wolf, 70, of Rosenberg were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Rosenberg. The Rev. W. Frank Cate officiated.
Mrs. Wolf passed away in the Polly Ryon Hospital Sunday morning after a short illness.
She came to the United States from Czechoslovakia when she was six months old and lived in Plum. She had been a resident of Fort Bend County about 58 years.
Among the survivors are her husband, Ben Wolf; a son, Clarence B. Wolf of Rosenberg; a step-daughter, Mrs. Hilda Torres of Richmond; two brothers, Ludwig Dobesh of Beasley and Adolph Dobesh of Needville; a sister, Mrs. August Kovar of Richmond; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were Louis Senkel, Terrell Bewer, Joe Barak, Gregory Knauth, Robert A. Ross and Clarence Wagner.
Burial was in the Greenlawn Memorial Park. Funeral services were under the direction of Garmany & Co. Funeral Directors.
The family suggested contributions to the Memorial Fund of the First Presbyterian Church instead of other remembrances.
