Mrs. Alma Jane Wilson, 81, of Madisonville, KY, died Thursday, March 16, 2006, at 12:30 P.M., at the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

Born March 8, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Barney Adams and Myrtle Dixie Smith Adams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Herschel Wilson and one brother, Edward Franklin Adams.

Mrs. Wilson had worked in patient accounts at Trover Clinic and was a member of the Mortons Gap Christian Church and the Women's Circle at Madisonville First Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Nell Walker of Benton, KY, one son, Ronald Thomas Wilson of Madisonville; a sister, Joyce Preston of Headland, AL and five grandchildren, Allen Walker, Michael Walker, Brian Walker, Sean Thomas Wilson and Laura Elizabeth Wilson and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Grapevine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alan Walker, Michael Walker, Brian Walker, Sean Thomas Wilson and Mike Tierney.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday and on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. until the services.

Memorial gifts may take the form of donations to the Western KY Autism Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
