Daniel E. Pick died at the home of his son, Holmes Pick, of Smithfield township, early this morning, November 15, 1940, at 12:05 o'clock. Mr. Pick had been employed as a clerk at the Mount Union freight office.
He was born on March 23, 1891 at Watsontown, a son of John N. and Alice Levan Pick.
Members of the family include his parents, who reside in Watsontown; his wife, Nellie J. Pick, and daughter, Ethel Pick, both of whom are patients in the Lewistown hospital following an automobile accident a month ago; and one son, Holmes Pick, at whose home he died. One sister, Mrs. Leon Renninger, of Selinsgrove; three brothers, Elwood Pick, of Watsontown; Charles Pick, of Evanston, Illinois, and Merl Pick, of Southgate, California, also survive.
The body will be taken to Troxelville this afternoon, where services will be held on Monday afternoon. Interment will be made in Troxelville. Brown's funeral service.
