Survived by one son: Carl Akers of rural Roodhouse; and one daughter: Mrs. Sam (Ruth) Williams of White Hall; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister: Mrs. Mildred Crum of Wood River; and a foster sister: Miss Ethel Samuelson of Steilacoom, Washington.
Preceded in death by two brothers.
