Born in Wellsville, Kansas on May 6 1892, he was the son of William and Louise Ansetaett Baker, On December 30, 1913 in Memphis, he married Jennie Lee Fetters who survives. Also surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Max Roberta Gilbert of Peoria, Illinois.
Mr Baker had been a carpet layer before his retirement.
Funeral services were held this morning (Jun 20 1979) at ten o'clock in the Cody and Son Memorial home in Jacksonville, Illinois. Burial was in the Greensburg cemetery this afternoon at 2:30.
