JOHN R. FOX
John R. Fox, 87, of 1125 N. 12th St., died at 11:40 a.m. Monday inSt. Elizabeth Hospital. He had been ill one year and hospitalized aweek.
Mr. Fox, a retired farmer, was born at Elizabethtown, Ky. He moved to the Lafayette area in 1925 and farmed in the Shadeland community.He was later employed as custodian
at the Lafayette Life Building.
In 1910 he was married at Elizabethtown to Bessie L. Klinglesmith who died in 1971. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Gilbert Ewing of Lafayette, Mrs.WIlliam Brown with whom he made his home and Mrs. Gerald Batta of West Lafayette.

Wednesday at Soller-Baker Funeral Home. Services
in Soller-Baker Main Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, The Rev. Paul Gafford officiating. Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Twelve grand-children and 29 great-grand-children also survive.
