She was born on June 24, 1916, in the Township of Berry, the daughter of Michael & Regina (Struby) Kelter.
Rosalyn was a longtime resident of the Evanston, IL area where she was employed as an L.P.N. in home care.
After moving to Waunakee she was employed with W.P.S. in Madison.
She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Waunakee where she volunteered as a Eucharist Minister.
She also took care of the altar area and was a church leader in the recital of the Rosary.
In her spare time she enjoyed flowers, gardening, crocheting, making baptismal gowns, knitting baby blankets and volunteering at Waunakee Manor.
Rosalyn is survived by her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Cullen, Waunakee, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Michael and Regina Kelter, her sisters, Mary (John) Michels, Sister Desponsata, Catherine (Henry) Spahn, Clara (Norman) Frey, her brother, Michael Kelter and two infant brothers, Matthew and Frank.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Waunakee, with Father Lance Schneider presiding.
Burial was held at Saint Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery in Martinsville.
A Visitation was held on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M.
The family would like to thank the staff at Waunakee Manor for their wonderful care, compassion and love that they showed Rosalyn.
