Mrs. Kate Perkins Dies in N.Y.; Burial Here
TYRINGHAM--Mrs. Kate Riggs Perkins died at her home, 445 East 58th Street, New York, Saturday, following a short illness. Mrs. Perkins, a summer resident of this town, leaves her husband, Edward Newton Perkins; two daughters, Sister S.S.M. (Maria Louise Perkins) and Mrs. Mary Eleanor Montgomery of New York; a son, Edward Clifford Perkins of New York.
The funeral was this morning at 7.30 from the Church of the Resurrection at 74th Street. The body will arrive in Lee tonight and will be taken to the Kelly Funeral Home on Main Street. Burial will be in Tyringham Cemetery tomorrow morning. Rev. Gordon Wadhams of New York will conduct the committal service.
