Agnes B. Curtin
TYRINGHAM -- Miss Agnes B. Curtin, 70, of Jerusalem Road died Thursday evening at Berkshire Medical Center.

She was born in Pittsfield on Sept. 14, 1920, daughter of Thomas F. and Mary A. McGlynn Curtin. She was a graduate of Lee High School and Pittsfield School of Stenography.

Miss Curtin was employed as a secretary by Tervakoski U.S.A. Inc. of Lenox and Kimberley Clark Co. of Lee, retiring in 1981.

She was a member of the Tyringham Historical Commission and the Valley Club of Tyringham. She served six years on the Park Commission, and in 1987 she was appointed to the Tyringham Board of Registrars. Miss Curtin was an ardent environmentalist.

She leaves a brother, Gerald T. Curtin of Leominster, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary C. Elliott of La Jolla, Calif., and Mrs. Kathleen C. Harrod of Wellfleet.

Following cremation, services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

The Park Funeral Home in Pittsfield is in charge of local arrangements.
