She lived in Connecticut while growing up and was a resident of Watervliet for over 50 years. She was the business manager for Colljack's Sporting Goods in Watervliet and the Menands Market Restaurant for over 30 years. She was a homemaker and was an avid bingo player. She was the beloved wife of Fred Martin Jackson, Sr. of Watervliet; loving mother of two daughters, Marilyn F. Mein and Paula C. Flynn both of Watervliet."
