Bobby G. Stewart, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at his residence in Tullahoma, at the age of 77. Mr. Stewart was born in Jackson County, AL to the late Grover and Ollie Stewart. Until his retirement, Mr. Stewart served Tullahoma for 35 years for the Tullahoma Fire Department where he was a fire captain; he served as a past County Commissioner, was active in Toys for Tots, Special Olympics, and the Big Brothers program; he was also a member of the Church of God. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline, Grace and Ella Jane; brothers, Johnny, James, Elmore, David Lee, and Jr. Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife, Lillian Stewart of Tullahoma; one daughter, Donna Baker and her husband David of Tullahoma; one brother, Arnold Steward of Beecher, ILL., one grandson, Josh Baker and his wife Jennifer of Tullahoma; and one great-grandchild, Avery Baker. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011, from 5:00-9:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be on Friday, June 10 2011, at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. R.B. Bewley and Bro. Edie Blazer officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd, Tn.
