Funeral Services Held This Afternoon for Lady Long a Resident Northeast of Edina.
Mrs. Tom Anderson of northeast of Edina died at 8:20 o'clock Sunday evening. She had suffered a light stroke about 18 months ago, but had recovered enough to help around the house, and had another stroke just a week before her death, and a third on later on, which resulted in her death. She was 64 years old.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Community Church in Edina by the Rev. C. W. Kimbrell, pastor. Burial will be in the Linville cemetery.
Surviving are the husband and two brothers, Walter Lanham of LaBelle and Jesse Lanham, who had been with Mr. and Mrs. Anderson for a number of years.
As Emma Alice Lanham, one of the ten children of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Lanham, Mrs. Anderson was born July 14, 1881, in Sangamon County, Illinois. When a small child she came to Knox County and was married to Thomas B. Anderson, Apr. 15, 1914. They lived all their married life on the same farm northeast of town where death came. There were no children.
Preceding Mrs. Anderson in death were 3 sisters and 4 brothers: Misses Bertha and Pearl Lanham and Lena, Mrs. Lee Corbin, and Aurther, Alva, Roy and Wesley Lanham.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Presbyterian Church at LaBelle most of her life.
