Born June 8, 1913, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of Lonnie W. and Elsie Gertrude Barger Cline.
She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henry Whitener; and two brothers, Kernie Cline and Horace Cline
Survivors include two sisters, Fern Cline and Mrs. Roy (Vee) Arrowood of Newton; and two brothers, Lee Cline and William Cline of Newton.
The funeral will be conducted by the Rev. Steve Bailey at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Hickory Funeral Home chapel.
Burial will be in Olathe Cemetery, Olathe, Colo.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight.
