William Clayton “Frank” Coyle is a son of Alkana "Cain" and Elizabeth Frances (Moomaw) Coyle. He married Antoinette C. “Nettie” Grignon Coyle on February 25th, 1895. This union produced eight children; three sons (Ronald, Robert, & Howard) and 5 daughters (Myrtle Coyle, Birdella Deutsch, Pauline Carl, Athline Glomski and Mae Durkin). Frank and Nettie also raised a grandson, Thomas Anthony Coyle, into manhood.
Frank retired in 1937 after 41 years with the Burlington Railroad. He was very active in Trempealeau civic affairs; member of the Village Board, as a volunteer Fireman and as manager of the Trempealeau Baseball Team.
He was 88 years old when he passed, preceeded in death by his wife Antoinette and daughter Myrtle.
