LILLIAN E. CHRISTENSEN
NAMPA—Lillian E. Christensen, 88, died in Nampa Friday. She was born July 12, 1896, to Jude and Betsy Osterhout Allen, in the American Falls area. She grew up and was educated in American Falls.
On Oct. 15, 1912, she married John Vernon Christensen from Neeley.
She moved with her family to Declo in about 1930. After the children were raised, the couple moved to Cypress, Calif., where they lived for 25 years. Mr. Christensen died in 1971. In 1979, she moved to Nampa where she made her home with her daughter, Ileen, ' until the time of her death.
She was a member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice. Kipper, Omak, Wash.; Ileen Ronfeld, Nampa; two sons, Vernon and Merl Christensen, American Falls; a brother, Welton Allen, Rupert; one sister, Mrs. Laverne Cooper, Vancouver, Wash.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Allen, and one daughter, Ruth.
Graveside services will be in the Nee-ley Cemetery Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Bishop Keith Phillips officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis Mortuary in American Falls.
