Earl O. Bardon, 81, of Greenbush, died Saturday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital, where he had been a patient for three days.
Mr. Bardon was born Jan. 29, 1901, at Sheboygan Falls, son of Oscar and Katherine Limberg Bardon. He attended Greenbush grade and high school.
On Dec. 31, 1924, he married Erma Keach at Waukegan, Ill. The couple lived in the Town of Plymouth until moving to the Town of Greenbush in 1929. Since 1948, they had live in the Village of Greenbush.
Mr. Bardon was employed by the Kohler Co. for 19 years until retiring in 1967.He served as clerk of the Greenbush school board for many years, and was a member of the Greenbush cemetery board.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Clark (Arlisle) Melvin of Glenbeulah, Mrs. Althea Kendig of Manheim, Pa., and Mrs. Donald (Helen) Hueppchen of Route 2, Sheboygan Falls, two sons, Clarence of Gladstone, Mn., and Calvin of Greenbush; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one step-grandson, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Dreymiller of Beaver Dam.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Private funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. Terry Underber, pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church in Greenbush, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenbush Cemetery.
There will be no funeral home visitation.
