Born July 18, 1909, at Melrose in Stone County, she was the daughter of Isaac Jefferson Garland and Eva Evergreen Bradley Garland. She was a retired maid for the Powell Motel and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include three nephews, William Gray, Marion Thompson and Ansel Scroggins; and five nieces, Betty Duty, Martha Fulbright, Harlean Sanders, Oma Lee Bridgeman and Anna Marie Robins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Alma Scroggins, Lee Thompson, Nellie Williams and Edna Gray; a nephew, Johnny Thompson; and a niece, Eva Jackson.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Batesville with Bob Harris officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Bill Fulbright, Marion Thompson, Tony Thompson, Bobby Gray, Tommy Sanders and Gary Bridgeman.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight.
