Died from Aortic Insufficiency and Arteriosclerosis.

Louis J. Daughtrey, 92, died at his home in Casad Monday afternoon after having been ill about two weeks. He had recently returned from St. Mary's Hospital, Evansville, where he had been undergoing treatment.

Mr. Daughtrey was born in Tennessee and came to this county, with his parents, as a youth settling near Marion. For the past forty years he had lived in the Casad Community. Up until the onset of illness, which caused death, Mr. Daughtrey was active in the management of a large farm and was one of the best known farmers in the county and western portion of the state. He was a member of the Hebron Methodist Church.

Survivors are four sons: Dr. Thos., Fredonia; J.A., Casad; J. Ray, this city, and Clyde of Missouri.
