MRS. EARL BALDWIN IS TAKEN BY DEATH

Former Resident Of This Place Passes Away At Hospital After Operation

Mrs. Earl Baldwin of Appleton died at the Community hospital in New London last Thursday night, January 26, after a long illness, and following an operation a week previous. She was 39 years, 10 months, and 4 days old at the time of her death.

Elsie Wilhelmina Sturm was born in the town of Little Wolf on March 22, 1893, and grew to womanhood in this locality. Her marriage to Earl Baldwin of Symco occurred at Manawa on December 25, 1923. Immediately thereafter they moved to Appleton, where they made their home until Mrs. Baldwin passed away.

Surviving the deceased besides the widower are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Sturm of Manawa and two sisters, Frieda (Mrs. Arthur Ziemer) of New London and Grace (Mrs. Wm. Voss) of Manawa.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 29, from the Sturm home in Manawa at 1:30 o'clock and from St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran church here at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. R.A. Karpinsky officiated, and interment was in the Manawa cemetery.
