Margaet Alma Thompson Brown, 70, of Kirbyville died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont,Texas.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 13, at E.E. Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with Rev.Berkley Boyd and Rev. Robert McClelland officiating. Grandsons served as pallbearers and were Greg Brown,Brad Brown,Clint Brown,Michael Doggett, Donald Doggett, and Lance Askew.
Born in Eldorado, Arkansas to Thomas Jackson Thompson and Maggie M. (Hunt) Thompson. She had lived in Kirbyville for 38 years. She is survived by three sons, Chester Dwayne Brown, Tommy Floyd Brown, and Gary Don Brown, all of Kirbyville,two daughters, Brenda Sue Doggett and Shari Lynn Burkett both of Kirbyville; one sister Zelma Faye Ford of Kirbyville; twelve grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
