Ava I. Snyder
Ava I. Snyder, 66, a resident of New Castle, Del., passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2002, in St. Francis Hospital in Delaware.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Wendell Frank Snyder of New Castle; one son, Frank W. Snyder and a daughter, Janet I. Snyder, both of New Castle, Del. Also surviving are two brothers, Spencer Channell and Lehman Channell, sisters, Ruth Shephard, Joy Porter, Linora Tackach and Mary Ware. Two grandsons, Frank III and Billy, also survive.
Mrs. Snyder was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of the Goodwill Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the Gebhart Funeral Homes Inc. in New Castle, Del. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from the funeral Home.
