From bio on James Garfield Dugger
James Garfield Dugger was born to James A. and Margaret Stover Dugger. The maternal grandparents were among the early settlers of Vermillion County, IN. James A. Dugger has spent his later life engaged in general farming and stock raising, in which he has been successful. He and his wife were born in Tennessee, in which state they grew to maturity, and were married, and there they continued to reside until 1865, when they moved to Vermillion County, locating in Helt Township. The mother died in 1886. Twelve children were born to James A. and Margaret Dugger, namely: William, Charles, Lem, Lillian, Samuel, Lewis, James Garfield, David, Florence, Clara, McKinley, and one child who died in infancy.

James Garfield Dugger was born to James A. and Margaret Stover Dugger. The maternal grandparents were among the early settlers of Vermillion County, IN. James A.
