Mr. Ralston married Bertha Mifflin Mansker on August 6, 1943 in Murphysboro. He left one son, Russell, of California and several stepchildren: Mike Pierce of Ava; Mrs. Frances Larison of South Gate, CA; Mrs. Mabel Weatherford of Gorham; and Mrs. Christina Massey of St. Louis. Mr. Ralston was a retired section worker for the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.
He died at the age of 75 after a long illness. His funeral was held at the Wilson Funeral Home in Ava. Rev. William Stacey officiated.
